What we do with your data

This is the question everyone asks first, and it should be. You're handing an AI agent access to your support inbox, your billing system, and your customers' account data. Here's exactly what it touches, what it never touches, and how we keep it safe.

Access

What we access, and why

Your knowledge base

Help articles, docs, SOPs, example tickets

What the agent learns your product from. Stays in the agent's own prompt and index — never shared with anyone else. Full export if you ever cancel.

Your support inbox

Email/tickets, thread history, customer names and emails

Needed for the thread context to answer coherently. Read in real time, not archived anywhere outside the tools you already use.

Stripe — read-only

Customer details, subscription status, invoice history

A restricted key: customer:read, invoice:read, subscription:read. No write access, ever. It cannot process a refund — the key physically doesn't allow it.

Your database — read-only

Name, plan tier, signup date, feature flags

A read-only application role scoped to only the tables support needs. No inserts, updates, or deletes.

Boundaries

What we never do

Read anything outside what we set up

Only the integrations you explicitly connect. Nothing else on your computer, other tools, or personal accounts.

Store your customers' data on our servers

Responses are generated in real time via the Claude API under a Zero Data Retention agreement — nothing trains a model, and we don't archive your customer emails or messages.

Sell your data

Not now, not ever. We don't collect enough to sell even if we wanted to.

Lock you in

Full export of your knowledge base, system prompt, and configuration any time you ask, or automatically if you cancel.

Use your name without asking

We won't use your company as a case study or testimonial without your explicit written OK.

Mechanics

How data actually flows

Customer email → your inbox → agent reads it (read-only API) → agent checks your KB, Stripe, and DB for context → agent drafts a reply via Claude (Zero Data Retention) → you review it, or it auto-sends if you've configured that → reply goes out from your inbox.
  • No customer data passes through servers we control — the agent runs on your own integrations.
  • Logs are ephemeral: 30 days max, auto-purged, metadata only — never the full conversation.
  • The Claude API is covered by a signed Zero Data Retention agreement with Anthropic.
Practices

Security practices

  • Every integration key is encrypted at rest and rotated on setup.
  • No shared secrets — each client gets isolated credentials and a dedicated agent configuration.
  • Stripe keys are scoped restricted keys, never full secret keys.
  • Database access uses a read-only application role, never the master credential.
  • We can see agent logs for tuning — never your customer data for any other reason. Logged and auditable.
Cancellation

When you cancel

  1. 1The agent stops processing new tickets immediately.
  2. 2You get a zip export: your knowledge base, the system prompt and config, integration setup notes.
  3. 3All stored logs are deleted within 7 days.
  4. 4Plug the export into any other AI support tool, or run it yourself. No data stays with us. No lock-in.
